Corrections
A complete log of corrections made to Hearthline guides. Each entry is dated, attributed to the reviewer who issued it, and linked to the original review's update history.
We do not quietly amend the archive. If a published recommendation contained a factual error, the correction is recorded here and inside the guide itself.

Ten Years With a Lodge Cast Iron SkilletCorrected a statement about handle temperature after stovetop searing. The original review described the handle as 'safe to grip after five minutes off heat'; testing showed this varies by burner output. Language amended; reader who flagged the issue acknowledged.

Eighteen Months With the Sony WH-1000XM5Corrected the codec list in the connectivity section. The unit supports LDAC but does not support aptX Lossless; an earlier draft conflated the two during a firmware transition.

Two Years With Philips Hue, Honestly AssessedUpdated the section on local control. Hue's local API behaviour changed with a 2025 firmware update; the previous wording overstated cloud dependence. Reader correspondence acknowledged in update history.

Living With a Single Desk Lamp for Two YearsClarified that the warranty period quoted applied to EU purchases only. North American buyers should consult the manufacturer; the section now states this explicitly.
